Now borrow the same amount from your friend and add both the amounts.Then add 8 dollars from me and make total amount.Now give half of the total amount to a poor. Now give away the borrowed amount from your friend. So ; I Know the remaining amount you have..............


The answer is 4.

You have a number a

and then double that number 2a

and then you add 8 to that number 2a+8

and then you divide by 2 (2a+8)/2 = a+4

subtract the original number a+4-a = 4

Hence you always get 4.

If I am playing this game with you so It will always be the half of amount that i give to you.....................If i give 8 dollars to you,the remaining amount will be 4 dollars.....................I know bcz I have posted this problem...............

if i have ((((7+7)+8)/2)-7)=4 and is not half the starting amount?

It is simple. If you don't understand equations then just take any example. You will get the answer
