If 4^y - 615 = x^2 then find x + y = ?

Assume x and y are positive integers.

We get

2^y + x = 123

2^y - x = 5

Add both

y=6

x=59

x + y = 65

You might say that x and y are both positive integers or something in the question since x=-59 is also a solution and then x+y=-53
