72 18 = 2 × 36 2 × 9 = 6 × 2 3 × 2 = 6 3 = 2 \LARGE\frac{\sqrt{72}}{\sqrt{18}}=\frac{\sqrt{2\times36}}{\sqrt{2\times9}}=\frac{6\times\sqrt{2}}{3\times\sqrt{2}}=\frac63=2

√72 = 8.4853

√18 = 4.2426

8.4853 / 4.2426 = 2
