why did you mentioned it needs brain, Is brain a Calculator, when we need it we use it and when we don't want it we don't use it?
(2) square is = 4. 2x2=4 2x2=square root 16
Actually it was an iq question which says a has 3 values ie 1 0 n -1 and in variable it has a value of squareroot(squareroot(a)) thus 2 square remains the same it needed a bit iq
Despite getting the correct answer, I find the question itself to be misleading at best, near incomprehensible at worst.
Without wishing to sound rude or prejudiced, perhaps the standard of English could be improved - perhaps the maths notation, too?

Agreed...for all we know the first sentence may have represented a new function where a is mapped into squareroot(a). Indeed it used subjunctive tense IF. Therefore substituting 2 for a the answer could logically have been squareroot (2l Reminds me of the Oracle at Delphi.
