The world's rarest octopus has been stolen from the aquarium. The police have narrowed down five young women who are suspected of the crime. They are standing in one straight line while being detained for interrogation. Furthermore, each have a different nationality, like a different colour, drink a different beverage, wear a different type of clothing and keep a different pet. Only one of the five women actually stole the octopus while the others are all innocent. From what the police have gathered, it is known that:

From fact 9, the Norwegian woman is standing in 1st place (where 1st is the leftmost and 5th the rightmost). Based on fact 14, the woman who likes blue is next to the Norwegian woman in 1st place so the woman who likes blue is in the 2nd place. From fact 8, the woman who drinks milk is in 3rd place.
Now it can be seen that the woman in 1st place does not like red because if she does, then she would be Chinese based on fact 1 but she is actually Norwegian. She also cannot like green because if she does, then there is a woman who likes white to her left from fact 4 but there is no such woman considering that she is on the extreme left. Also she cannot like white because if she does then the woman in 2nd place would like green from fact 4 but the woman in 2nd place actually likes blue. Furthermore, the woman in 2nd place already likes blue so the only possible colour for the Norwegian woman in 1st place is yellow. From fact 7, she wears culottes.
From fact 11, the woman in 2nd place owns a horse. Also we determine that the Norwegian woman cannot drink tea from fact 3 (it is the Italian woman who drinks tea). She also cannot drink coffee otherwise she would like green from fact 5 but she actually likes yellow as determined. She also cannot drink juice as that would mean she wears a skirt from fact 12 but she actually wears culottes. Furthermore, milk is consumed by the woman in the middle so this leaves water for the Norwegian woman. From fact 15, the woman in 2nd place wears bell-bottoms.
Next we deduce that the woman in the 2nd place cannot be Chinese considering that she likes blue (fact 1: The Chinese woman likes red). She cannot be Spanish considering that she owns a horse (fact 2: The Spanish woman owns a dog). She also cannot be French considering that she wears bell-bottoms (fact 13: The French woman wears bermudas. Furthermore, the Norwegian woman is in the 1st place so the woman in the 2nd place must be Italian, which means she drinks tea (fact 3).
Consider fact 6 now. The woman who wears leggings and owns a serpent can only be Chinese, French or Spanish considering that the other two nationalities (Norwegian and Italian) have already been taken (culottes and bell-bottoms respectively). However, the woman who wears leggings cannot be French considering that the French actually wears bermduas (fact 13). This woman also cannot be Spanish considering that the Spanish woman owns a dog (fact 2). Thus the woman who wears leggings and owns a serpent must be Chinese. Furthermore, the Chinese woman likes red from fact 1.
This means she cannot drink coffee (fact 4 says it is the woman who likes green that drinks coffee) and she also cannot drink juice (fact 12: it is the woman who wears skirt that drinks juice) because she wears leggings, not skirt. Water has been taken by the Norwegian and tea by the Italian. So the Chinese woman who likes red, drinks milk, wears leggings and owns a serpent must be in the 3rd place.
Finally, the woman in the 4th place likes white while the woman in the 5th place likes green. The woman who likes green must drink coffee, leaving juice for the woman in the 4th place. The woman in the 4th place thus wears a skirt, leaving bermudas for the woman in the 5th place. Thus the woman in the 5th place must be French, leaving the woman in the 4th place to be Spanish, which means she owns a dog.
Finally, from fact 10, the woman in the 2nd place wears bell-bottoms which means the woman in the 1st place owns a fox considering that the woman in 3rd place owns a serpent (hence the woman in the 1st place is the only neighbour remaining). Thus the F r e n c h woman stole the octopus. The complete profile in order is as follows:
