Just make a chart with all the names, then use the process of elimination to find the rest.

Nationality: Dane Norwegian Brit Swedish German \Large\color{#3D99F6}\boxed{\text{German}}
House Colors: Blue Yellow Red White Green
Beverage: Tea Water Milk Beer Coffee
Cigar: Blends Dunhill Pall Mall Bluemasters Prince
Pet: Horses Cats Birds Dogs Fish \Large\color{#D61F06}\boxed{\text{Fish}}

From that chart, in the last column, we can see that the German keeps the fish.

Do you see why?

only 47% got right?

The Norwegian lives in the 1st house.

@Jonathan Quarrie - What is the first house? I know that the Norwegian lives in the Yellow house.

The left-most is the first house.

Rule 9.

I guess that yellow's the first house. I didn't use that hint

Create a table with the Norwegian in the first house. See if you can solve it using all the rules as they are written.

Jonathan Quarrie - 4 years ago

Don't forget that the Green house has to be on the left of the White house.

If you get stuck making sure that every rule is adhered to, that's because this problem has been written with the incorrect rules - specifically, rule 15. It should be water, not beer.

Eh I didn't care about house orders that's why I didn't put them @Jonathan Quarrie

If you don't satisfy every statement, you haven't solved the problem. That is the essence of Mathematics.

Jonathan Quarrie - 4 years ago

Challenge master i think it is wrong because I didn't consider neighbors and stuff and I didn't put house numbers.
