in a series circuit the effective resistance is the sum of all the resistors as the current remains same throughout but pu of each resistor changes thus 5+5=10

in series circuit, the effective resistance is calculated by adding the resistance of all resistors. so in this case its 5+5=10

resistance is always added in the series connection that is one of the reason for using parallel connection in our routine life.

As resistors are in series equivalent resistance will be the sum of series resistance so 5+5=10 ohm

if 2 resistor connect in series then we know that total resistance is r=r1+r2 . so 5+5=10
