Points in a line have been plotted on a graph. They are all positive also. They are also co-linear. The points are A(5,a) ; B(2,1) ; C(a,3).

Find the equation of the line AC. .

5x - 2y=3 x - y =1 2x +3 =9 5x + 2y=7

THE POINTS ARE CO-LINEAR ,THEREFORE SLOPES ARE EQUAL BY SOLVING WE GET a=4 BY USING TWO POINT FORM THE EQUATION IS x-y=1
