Equilibrium Blast!

Chemistry Level 3

Here, Consider the following reaction

N 2 ( g ) + 3 H 2 ( g ) 2 N H 3 ( g ) \large{N_{2}(g)+3H_{2}(g) \leftrightharpoons 2NH_{3}(g)}

Say, The total pressure at the equilibrium be P e q u i l = 2 a t m P_{equil}=2 atm at constant T = 17 R K T=\dfrac{17}{R} K .

If the density of N H 3 ( g ) NH_{3}(g) at equilibrium is 0.2 g / m l 0.2 g/ml . Find the value of K c \lfloor K_{c} \rfloor .

Assumption

  • The given data of density is not Vapour Density
  • Here . \lfloor . \rfloor denotes the floor function.
  • The given data may not be physically feasible, It is taken for ease of calculations
