solution : at equillibrium the net force is 0.

At stable equillibrium whenever you try to move forward or back the forces act on you directed towards the eqillibrium position. Take example of a spring if you strech it it applies a force in opposite direction and the same when you press it.

At unstable equillibrium although net force is 0 but if you disturb the system it do not try to come back at the same position take example of a dipole placed in electric field as follows: so now if you disturb the system the forces will try to turn it instead of restoring the position.

at point A if you move forward negative force will act so as to keep the object at A and if you move back a positive force will act so as to move you forward trying to keep you at the same place(point A).

at point B if you move forward positive force will act so move you further away while if you move back negative force will act so that you move further back
