Estimating digits known!

The speed of light (c) is one of the most well known constants in physics. Its approximate value is 300 300 000 000 000 000 m / s m/s

However, that quantity is not its exact value. Our measurements are so good that we have been able to figure out a lot of its decimal digits. How many of them are known?

Notes:

  • Decimal digits are the digits after the decimal point. For example, the first decimal digits of π π are 141592... 141592...

  • Do not look the digits up. Use your intuition about computational power and measurement.

The speed of light is exactly 299,792,458 metres per second. Since that number is an integer, all of its decimal digits are 0. This is because the definition of a metre is the space the light travels in 1/299 792 458 of a second.
