The parabola y = 2 ( x 1 ) 2 y = -2(x-1)^2 has a highest point, called the vertex. Find the coordinates of this point without using a graph.

( 1 , 4 ) (-1,4) ( 0 , 0 ) (0,0) ( 1 , 0 ) (1,0) ( 2 , 10 ) (2,10)

The maximum of y = 2 ( x 1 ) 2 y=-2(x-1)^2 happens when x = 1 x=1

All of the options are wrong lol, the vertex is at (1,0)

Yeah, that's right. That's why I only said x=1 in the solution.
