The series is of (n!-1) where n is a whole number.

n! means number multiplies by previous numbers .. eg.. for 7! = 7 6 5 4 3 2 1= 5040 7!-1 is 5039 the number asked for is the 8th number in the sequence. therefore 8!-1 =40319
