The expression is ( 6 4 ) \dbinom{6}{4} which is essentially 6 × 5 2 = 15 \dfrac{6×5}{2} = \color{#3D99F6}{\boxed{15}}

? = 6 ! 2 ! × 4 ! ?=\frac{6!}{2! \times 4!} = 1 × 2 × 3 × 4 × 5 × 6 1 × 2 × 1 × 2 × 3 × 4 =\frac{1 \times 2 \times 3 \times 4 \times 5 \times 6}{ 1 \times 2 \times 1 \times 2\times 3 \times 4} = 3 × 5 =3 \times 5 = 15 =15

x = 6 ! 2 ! × 4 ! x = \frac{6!}{2!\times4!}

Expand the numerator: x = 6 × 5 × 4 ! 2 ! × 4 ! x = \frac{6\times5\times4!}{2!\times4!}

Reduce: x = 6 × 5 2 ! x = \frac{6\times5}{2!}

Since 2 ! = 2 × 1 2! = 2\times1 , then we have x = 30 2 x = \frac{30}{2}

Therefore x = 15 x = 15 , our solution.

6!= 4! x 30

6!/ 2! x 4! = 4! X 30 / 2! x 4! = 30 / 2! = 30 / 2 = 15
