Falling!

Two paperweights of different masses are dropped with initial vertical separation of 1 cm. Heavier being above the lighter one. If air resistance is ignored, will the heavier paperweight ever cross the lighter one?

Yes, if they are dropped from a great height No, they will never cross each other

All bodies, irrespective of their masses, experience the same acceleration downwards when they fall. Thus, both the objects will have the same velocity at all times. (except when one of them hits the ground)
