A non-odd odometer is an odometer that will not register an odd digit. It always skips an odd digit and replaces it with the following even digit.
In a non-odd odometer what will be registered if the real reading is 79?

There are only 5 numbers because we cannot use odd numbers.Therefore first write the number 79 to the base 5.It becomes 304 to the base 5.Now as we cannot use odd numbers therefore each digit should be increased by number of digits before it.Now if again a odd digit occurs then write the next even number in place of it.
