Since 5 5 cats can catch 5 5 rats in 1 1 minute, that means n n number of cats can catch n n number of rats in 1 1 minute as all the cats are trying to catch their corresponding rats at the same time. So, if we take n = 30 n=30 , we can say that 30 30 cats can catch 30 30 rats in 1 1 minute. So, the answer is = 1 min =\boxed{1 \text{ min }}
