Yes u can do it like this also. As if Saturday starts from 1,2,3 then the month of JANUARY will have 5 weeks. So, this can take place in 3 ways Therefor Probability(a month of JANUARY have 5 SATURDAYS)=3/7 P(E)+P(E')=1 P(E')=P(A MONTH OF JANUARY WILL HAVE 4 SATURDAYS)=1-3/7=4/7

Or u can do this also...

Starting of Saturday in a month of JANUARY can occur in 7 ways and the month of JANUARY can have 4 weeks if SATURDAY starts from 4,5,6,7] Thus, P(A MONTH OF JANUARY WILL HAVE 4 SATURDAYS)=4/7
