By pythagorean theorem

A C = 1 5 2 + 9 2 = 306 AC=\sqrt{15^2+9^2}=\sqrt{306}

The area desired is 15 ( 9 ) + 8 ( 306 ) = 15(9) + 8(\sqrt{306})= 275 \color{#D61F06}\boxed{275}
