Since ABO=ACO we can deduce that points C and B are symmetric about the line AO . Area of the figure will be 2(ar(AOC)) = 3*8

you must elaborate how u got ar(AOC)

OC=5 u is the radius & OD= 3 u helps us to compute DC=4 u using Pythagoras theorem. OA= radius= 5 u OD=4 u thus ar(AOD)=ar(ODE) and similarly for the left side and we get area of blue region is 4 times that of triangle ODC thus required area= 2 3 4= 24 square u
