Given three lines: y = x + 4 , y = 5 x , y = x y=x+4, y=5x, y=-x . Is an intersection of all three lines possible?

A plot of each function shows that y = -x and y = 5x intersect at the origin;the other two equations intersect at(1,5) . the first and third intersect at (-2,2), and that is it. So all three cannot intersect at the same point. Ed Gray
