180 degrees is the sum of the three angels of each triangle. 180 - 110 = 70 degrees is the sum of b b and the other angle we don't know. 70 : 2 = 35 70 : 2 = \boxed{35} We divide by 2, because the triangle is isosceles.

In an isosceles triangle, the angles opposite the equal sides are equal. Thus,

β = 180 110 2 = 3 5 \angle \beta = \dfrac{180-110}{2}=35^\circ
