Let R be the raduis of the sphere and let r be the radius of the small circle and A be the area The radius, r, of the small circel is (r) is sqrt(A/¶) The pytogerian them you get: x²=R²-(r/¶) hence x =sqrt(R²-A/¶) Puttin in the numbers R=1, and A= 1 you get:0.8256
