Relevant wiki: Finding Terms in a Sequence

a n = n 3 2 a_n=n*3-2

1 3 2 = 1 1*3-2=1

2 3 2 = 4 2*3-2=4

3 2 3 = 7 3*2-3=7

4 3 2 = 10 4*3-2=10

Rather confused with the problem definition, especially with this portion: "two less than three times the term number".
