Harmonic mean of 2 numbers is 4, their Arithmetic mean is A and Geometric Mean is G and satisfy the relation 2A + G 2 { G }^{ 2 } = 27. Find the sum of the 2 numbers


The answer is 9.

harmonic mean = 2ab/a+b arithmetic mean = a + b/2 geometric mean = ab = G^2 Simplifying will result to 27/3 = 9

G^2=AH THEREFORE A=27/6 HENCE sum of no.s equal to =27/3=9
