Construction: Draw a line AG such that it divides angle DAB in 20 and 40. Join G and E

  1. triangle ABG is isosceles[ base angles equal]
  2. AB=AG

  3. triangle AEB is isosceles [ same as reason 1]

  4. AB = AE= AG

  5. Triangle AGE is isosceles [ AG= AE]

  6. angle AGE= angle AEG= 60

  7. Triangle AGE is equilateral [ all angles 60 ]

  8. GE=AB=AE=AG

  9. trianlge AGD is isosceles [same as reason 1]

  10. GD=GE=AB=AE=AG

  11. trianlge GED is isosceles [ GE= GD]

  12. 40+40+x+40+x=180,
  13. x=30

super job!!
