a car takes 6 hours to cover a distance of 150 km at a certain speed ,if its speed is decreased by 20 km \hr, how much time will it take to cover a distance of 25 km .

The car travels 150 km in 6 hours.

6 hrs ==========> 150 km

1 hr ==========> 150 km/6

1 hr ==========> 25 km

So, speed = 25 km/hr

Now, the speed is decreased by 20 km/hr.

The present speed is 25 km/hr - 20 km/hr = 5 km/hr

i.e. In 1 hr it travels 5km

5 km ==========> 1 hr

1 km ==========> 1 hr / 5

25km ==========> 1 hr / 5 * 25

25km ==========> 5hrs

Hence, it takes 5hrs to travel 25km

speed=150/6=25 new speed=25-20=5 time=25/5=5

With given details car present speed is 25 Km/hr,after reducing by 20 KLm/hr speed will be only 5 Km/hr so 25 Km will be covered in 5 Hrs Ans
