First reflection, then rotation and finally translation

Geometry Level pending

The point P(1,2,3) is reflected in the xy-plane. If the image of point P is Q, then OQ (where O is the origin) is rotated by 18 0 0 180^0 in the plane containing OQ and the x-axis about O to produce R. Finally, the point R is translated by 5 units in the positive direction of y-axis to produce the point S. The sum of the coordinates of S is...

The answer is 5.

P(1,2,3) is reflected in the xy-plane, so the coordinates of Q are (1,2,-3).

Now, when OQ is rotated, |OR|=|OQ|

i.e. O is the mid-point of QR

So the coordinates of R are (-1,-2,3)

Coordinates of S- (-1,3,3)

sum=-1+3+3=5
