Observe that 123 + 3 + 195 = 321 123 + 3 + 195 = 321 .

Hence ( 123 + 3 ) ( 123 + 195 ) − 123 × 321 = 123 ( 123 + 3 + 195 − 321 ) + 3 × 195 = 585 (123 + 3)(123 + 195) - 123 \times 321 = 123 ( 123 + 3 + 195 - 321 ) + 3 \times 195 = 585 .
