if we knew that the earth is round like a ball ... and also we could know that the perimeter of the earth about the equator is 40000 KM we could bring a long cable that will lay exactly on the earth about the equator ...... if we increased the length of this cable by 10 Meters so that it makes a new circle around the earth having the same center . what is the distant would be there between the cable and the earth ??
and also can you find out a general formula of this increase ??
