Four Birds each roll a fair die. What is the probability (written in lowest terms) that they will all have the same outcome?

For example: all 4 birds rolled a 2 (in the die) as the outcome.

A die has 6 possible outcomes:1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. Since the die would be rolled 4 times, the number of possible outcomes is ${ 6 }^{ 4 }$ = 1296.

Since there are only 6 possible outcomes that they all have the same number rolled (all 4 birds have a 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 when they roll the die), the probability will be $\frac { 6 }{ 1296 }$ and in lowest term: $\frac { 1 }{ 216 }$ .
