Amount paid to each victim = 14 m i l l i o n 14 = $ 14 × 1 , 000 , 000 14 = $ 1 , 000 , 000 \dfrac {14 million }{14}=\dfrac {\$ 14×1,000,000 }{14}=\$ 1,000, 000 and not $ 100 , 000 \$100,000 .

Obviously thats correct if the amount was truly 14 million. What if the total was supposed to be 1.4 million? I feel that both the final 2 answers are correct. Because they both claim the same thing. that the calculation is incorrect.
