Add the two timings: 1 3 4 h o u r s + 2 1 3 h o u r s 1\frac{3}{4} hours + 2\frac{1}{3} hours

= 7 4 h o u r s + 7 3 h o u r s = \frac{7}{4} hours + \frac{7}{3} hours

Since answer is asked in minutes, convert the two quantities to minutes as 1 hour = 60 minutes:

= 7 4 × 60 m i n u t e s + 7 3 × 60 m i n u t e s = \frac{7}{4} \times 60 minutes + \frac{7}{3} \times 60 minutes

= 105 + 140 m i n u t e s = 105 + 140 minutes

= 245 m i n u t e s = \boxed{245} minutes

That's the answer!

convert 1 3/4 in minutes its 105 minutes convert 2 1/3 in minutes its 160 add them up 160+105=245

The first film = 105 min The second film = 140 min

Total length = 245 min

nic keep it up \

The first film in hour =1.45 long, the second film in hour = 2.20, so that total hour = 3.65. the result is 3*60+65=245.

1 3/4 =7/4hr=105 min,
2 1/3 = 7/3hr =140 min so = 245min

1 + 2 = 3. 3 x 60 = 180 minutes

1/3 = 0.33

3/4 = 0.75

0.33 + 0.75 = 1.08

1.08 x 60 = 64.8. Round to 65

65 + 180 = 245 minutes

the first film is 1 hour and 3/4. 1 hour is the same as 60 min.

3/4 of an hour is 45 minutes (60* 3/4=45 min). 60min+45min= 105min.

The second film is 2 hours and 1/3. 2 hours is the same as 120 minutes. 1/3 of an hour (60*1/3) is 20 minutes. 120 minutes +20 minutes =140. 105minutes and 140 minutes= 245 minutes There you go !

the first film = 7/4 hours

the second film = 7/3 hour

total duration of film = 7/4 + 7/3 = 49/12

total duration of film in minutes = 49/12*60

        = 245 minutes

first film 1(3/4) convert mixed fraction into proper fraction=7/4 second film 2(1/3) in proper fraction =7/3

the film in minutes 1st fillm (7/4)*60=105 minutes

2nd film in minutes (7/3)*60=140

total is 105+140=245

first convert both into proper fraction.therefore,u will get 7/4&7/3. take L.C.M 7/4&7/3=49/12 then convert hours into minutes .1h=60min.therefore 49/12multiply60=245

7/3 + 7/4 = 49/12. 49/12 x 60 = 245.

The question can be solved by this simple way :

First convert 1\frac{3}{4} and 2\frac{1}{3} from mixed fraction into improper fraction... you will get \frac{7}{4} and \frac{7}{3} Then add these both values \frac{7}{4} and \frac{7}{3}, i.e. \frac{7}{4} + \frac{7}{3} The answer u get will be in hours i.e. \frac{49}{12} hours now to convert this into minutes multiply this by 60 ( 1 hr= 60 mins) \frac{49}{12} hours * 60 = _245 _minutes

Here is d simple trick : 1 hr = 60 mins 3/4 hr = 45 mins 2 hr = 120 mins 1/3 hr = 20mins

sum of RHS gives d ans : 245 mins :)

the first film is - 7/4 and second is - 7/3 so, the total time in hours is 7/4 * 7/3 = 4.08 hrs.. hence, the time in minute is 4.08* 60 =245.....

Total length of 2 films = ( 1 3 4 + 2 1 3 ) = 7 4 + 7 3 = 21 + 28 12 = 49 12 (1\frac{3}{4}+2\frac{1}{3}) = \frac{7}{4}+\frac{7}{3} = \frac{21+28}{12} =\frac{49}{12} hrs.

Now, length in minutes = 49 12 × 60 = ( 49 × 5 ) = 245 \frac{49}{12}\times60 = (49\times5) =\boxed{245}

We hope to see you soon. Your levels should have been better, you are in class 12
