Car vs. Carpet

Level pending

Think about driving a car across the carpet..... The force is 1500 NT. (Newtons) , But the carpet has 1500 NT. as well.

Are you driving (moving around) or are you just sitting there?

Hint: Please Note that your house would have to be HUGE to do that. And please do not try this at home.

The force of the car is equal to the friction of the car. Therefore you are not moving Your Moving

If u are studying Force and Motion u will have no problem answering this question.... The force is 1500NT. and the friction of the carpet is equal to the force being applied to the car 1500NT. So u would subtract=0 NT. left so that would mean that the car would not move unless the force being applied to the car is increased to 1600+

Or a simple math equation 1500+1500-3000
