Fruit Distributed Into Baskets

Bernard has 36 apples and 60 oranges that he wants to distribute into baskets.

If each basket has an equal number of oranges and an equal number of apples (e.g. each basket has 1 apple and 2 oranges), and that all of the fruit must be used, what is the maximum number of baskets that Bernard can use?

Assumption: No fruit is cut into pieces.

Just find their H.C.F .The largest number of baskets in which 36 apple and 60 oranges can be distributed is the H . C . F of 36 and 60 which is easy to determine and must equal 12
