You have a rectangular prism of jello with VOLUME V. When you cut the jello into small cubes all the same size, they are spread out 1 layer thick with no spaces so that they fill a flat rectangular tray of AREA A. Find the number of jello cubes created in terms of V and A.

A^2/V^3 A^3/V^2 V^2/A^3 V^3/A^2

Let there be n small cubes of side 'x'

Volume of each cube=x³

Total volume occupied by cubes=nx³=Ax=V

x²=A/n

And, x²=(V/A)²

Which gives, n=A³/V²
