I think the answer shud be 2 ... period of sin px + cos px will be 2pi/(2 * p) and |sin x| + |cos x| is pi/2 ... so p=2... please correct it

but period of sin px+ cos px is 2pi/(p) not 2pi/(2 * p). So, p=4...
