If f ( x ) f(x) and ϕ ( x ) \phi(x) are continuous functions on the interval [ 0 , 6 ] [0,6] satisfying f ( x ) = f ( 6 x ) f(x)=f(6-x) and ϕ ( x ) + f ( 6 x ) = 5 \phi(x)+f(6-x)=5 and 0 6 f ( x ) = 3 \displaystyle \int _{0}^{6} f(x)=3 then the value of

{ 0 6 f ( x ) ϕ ( x ) . d x } \large{\{\displaystyle \int ^{6}_{0} f(x) \phi(x) .dx\}}

where { x } \{x\} denotes fractional part of x x

Check the second term of the second step. ϕ ( 6 x ) = 5 f ( x ) \phi(6-x)=5-f(x)

We can take f(x)=0, ф(x)=5. Then the value of the integral is 0 and {0}=0.
