On counting we find 18parallelograms each for blue and pink. Whereas yellow has 6structures each of 1.5times in area the parallelogram of blue and pink.then blue has fraction=18/(18+9+18)=2/5

I kinda don't get it :/ How you could find the yellow area like that?

Please re-correct me if my English isn't right, I'm not really good at English, and my math test score is always bad. LOL

If you have at least a good imagination, you might trying to rotate the flower and found out that it looks like a lots of triangles like this.

And by that you obviously like to count the triangles manually or do it with other ways (Maybe)

And by that you found that...

Blue = 36 Pink = 36 Yellow = 18 Total = 90

By that, the Blue area is = 36/90 = 2/5

That's all :D

Every two adjacent same coloured triangles yield a parallelogram. See ur diagram now and u will understand it. And also yellow structures are summation of three yellow triangles. I hope u will understand it now. However urs is nicer and clear solution.
