Infinity is NOT a real number. Negative infinity is NOT a real number. 0 IS a real number! Or you can say infinity and negative infinity are UNREAL numbers while 0 is a REAL number. .

Infinity is not a real number. So, mimum value of x 2 x^2 is at x = 0 x = 0 . So, the answer is 0 2 = 0 0^2 = \color{#69047E}{\boxed{0}} .

As I observed the choices, infinity is a imaginary number, which is undefined, especially the negative infinity, so the answer is 0 0 .
