There are 4 mangoes, 3 apples and 2 oranges in a bag, fruits of the same variety being identical. In how many ways can a selection of fruits can be made if at least one mango is to be selected?

Let us first select one mango so that we have at least one mango. Now, we are left with 3 mangoes, 3 apples, and 2 oranges and number of ways of selecting them is 4x4x3=48 (To know how the selection is made , refer to my solution here ) . Here we don't subtract 1 from the total selections because even if we select none of the fruits, we have one mango which was selected in the beginning .
