Logic Level 3

The square above is 3x3 in length. A and B will be entering numbers one by one.

The numbers are 2,6,8,10,12,14,16,18, and 20. All of these 9 numbers cannot be repeated.

The rule is: To gain mark, A or B must enter a number in one of the boxes. The number is correspondent to your marks. (Note, number 2 is 2 marks etc.) But A can only gain marks from the numbers entered on the first and last row, while B can only gain marks from the first and last column. Who has the highest mark wins.

So, if A starts the game first, find a strategy for A in order to win the game always.

(Use the above for the answering.)(Change, a major mistake was made, sorry for you guys who chose the wrong answer which is meant to be the correct one.)

A enter number 2 at G A enter number 20 at F A enter number 20 at B A enter number 2 at E

Whatever numbers get entered into the corners and center have no effect on the outcome, since they effect both players score equally.

That leaves B, D, F, and H. If player one puts a 20 in B on his first move, he can then put either 16 or 18 in H on the second turn, and is guaranteed to win, since B+H is guaranteed to be greater than D+F.
