Dry air is mostly nitrogen, N 2 , and oxygen, O 2 .
Wet air has also water, H 2 O .
Assuming pressure to be the same, the same number of molecules will occupy the same space.
Since two hydrogen atoms are far lighter than either one oxygen or one nitrogen, wet air will be lighter.
