Generalized Geography

Sheldon and Leonard are playing Geography on a long ride. The rules of the game are simple:

  • They take turns naming cities.
  • On their turn, each person picks a city name which starts with the last letter of the city name just mentioned.
  • No one can repeat a city that has already been mentioned.

In Sheldon and Leonard's vocabulary, there are only the following 10 cities:

  • Ann Arbor, Royal Oak, Rochester, Kalkaska, Kalamazoo, Oxford, Allegan, Dearborn, Detroit, Northville.

Sheldon starts the game by picking Ann Arbor .

Assuming that both play optimally, who'd win?

Sheldon Leonard
