Dori is choosing an elective to take at school next semester. She has to choose one class from 6 6 math courses, 5 5 arts courses, 4 4 science courses, and 3 3 language courses. How many choices does she have for which course to take?

as she has to choose one course from each course that is given to you ... for example in the first one you have 6 courses of math which means that she has 6 choices to make .... so by this way if we calculate ... she will have 5 choices in the next course and 4 choices and then 3 choices ... if we sum all these results (6+5+4+3) .. the answer will be 18
