What is the maximum number of queens that can be placed on an

We will have 2 queen as starter from both sides... And while moving Pawns to top of opposite side , we can get 16 more queens.. Later we already know the path of Queen in chess board... With all trail and error method , I managed to place 8 queens so that none of queens are attacking
