count number of zeroes and 5's in the series. Number of 10's in the even series 2 to 24 total numbers. No of 10's = 10 and (2 × 10) 20 total = 3 No. of 5's in odd series (as there are no 10's) (5 × 5) 25, 35, 45, 55, 65, 75, 85, 95 = 9 total = 3 + 9 = 12
