Glass Ball Drop

In a 60 story tall building you want to steal the glass ball. Each level has glass ball but the higher you go the more expensive. you plan to drop the ball out of the building and into your accomplice's car. You know the ball can withstand 10 storys.You have a replicate glass ball to test which ball you will heist. You can throw the ball out of the windows but you if throw too many the guards will suspect you. How can you figure out the level it breaks no matter what in the least amount of tries. ( Hint ) You have to drop the ball in intervals
