Given:

1/x - 1/y = 1/4 ----> (y-x)/(xy) = 1/4 -----> xy = 4y-4x

Then,

(2y+3xy-2x)/(y-x-2xy)

----->(2y-2x+3(4y-4x))/(y-x-2(4y-4x)

-----> (2y-2x+12y-12x)/(y-x-8y+8x)

----->(14y-14x)/(-7y+7x)

------> 7(2)(y-x)/(-7)(y-x)

----> -2

Final Answer: -2

Hi @Christian Daang

Wrap all the mathematical terms in (...... and end it with \ and )

for example for representing 1/x write \frac{1}{x} and wrap this mathematical text in the above symbol shown. and for more see the aditya raut latest note or latex guide by Daniel liu or in google just type math formatting guide or you can simply go to this site (Mathquill)

Given: 1/x-1/y = 1/4 (2y+3xy-2x)/y-x-2xy) Solution: (2y+3xy-2x)/xy----------> 2/x+3-2/y ----> 2(1/x-1/y) + 3 ----> 2(1/4)+ 3 =7/2 (y-x-2xy)/xy ----------> 1/x-1/y - 2 ------> 1/4-2 = -7/4 (7/2)/(-7/4) = -2

By putting different x,y for given equation we can find the value of given expression
