•The area of big circle (radius 8)= π × R 2 \pi×R^2 = 3.14 × 8 2 3.14×8^2 = 200.96 200.96 .
•The area of blue circle (radius 4)= π × r 2 \pi×r^2 = 3.14 × 4 2 3.14×4^2 = 50.24 50.24 .
•The area of white circle , including blue ( radius 4+2=6)= π × r 2 \pi×r^2 = 3.14 × 6 2 3.14×6^2 = 113.04 113.04 .
•Now, area which is not needed that is white portion= 113.04 50.24 113.04-50.24 = 62.8 62.8 .
•Now total area without white portion= 200.96 62.8 200.96-62.8 = 138.16 138.16 .
